Betty’s Country Store opened its doors in 1973, when George and Betty Fain built a small 800-square-foot shop just across the street from where we stand today. What began as a humble country market has now grown into a 10,000 square foot landmark, but through three generations of family ownership we have never lost the welcoming, down home charm that started it all.
Today, our IGA supermarket is a gathering place for both locals and visitors. From our butcher offering the finest cuts of meat, to our bakery turning out fresh desserts, to our deli where sandwiches are made to order, every corner of Betty’s is filled with flavor. Families love our candy room, kids marvel at our live beehive, and shoppers enjoy browsing our selection of beer, wine, and gifts.
With our newest addition, an outdoor bar serving cold drinks alongside our famous deli sandwiches, Betty’s Country Store continues to grow while staying true to the tradition of good food, family, and community.
